These are such challenging times. covid going on and on, with no end in sight, it's normal to easily go into overwhelm and get irritated at the slightest things, don't you find?
I've been struggling too... as many of you know, I've been working on writing the Bodytypology book, I started in January 2020, recently took the summer off from writing and now back at it again.
I'm in an online writing group which is great to get feedback from other writers and professional editing from the coach.
The first time I submitted my writing I was shocked by all the editing, so many things crossed out, deleted, tons of suggestions for improvement...
After the initial shock and upset wore off, I kept on writing and now I am re-submitting sections for more editing. I was thinking, surely this time there would be hardly any changes to be made, right?
Wrong!
It came back with tons more editing and changes to be made. Again. WT...
Argh, I was pissed. (First at the editor) and then at the situation... Am I ever going to get this done? It seems to be taking Forever. It's so much work...
But I want my book to be the best that it can be. And in looking it over I realized the editor had made it even better. (I'll share a sneak peek soon)
So back to the drawing board or should I say, back to the keyboard.
