It's hard to believe that we are heading into the last week of August and many kids are already starting back to school!
What I've always found fascinating is that each of the body types has their own personality, so how can use that to your advantage to ace these times? Whether it's you or your kids going back to school, these crazy busy times can be challenging, so here are some tips to make it easier for your body type!
Kids are always best following the Thyroid Type Plan with lots of protein at every meal, cutting back on the sweets and carbs. Their body type is determined at puberty.
September is the new January! Great time to start back on a healthy path if your summer had a few too many indulgences.
Let's break this down for each type for the adults!

Adrenal Type - Harness Your Fierce Determination
|
As an Adrenal Type, aka Apple shaped, back to school can be easy for you, as long as you learn how to better manage your stress, as that is usually a challenge for you. Even though you're not really a morning type, when need be, you'll be up and ready to get the kids out the door and on their way.
When you harness your fierce determination, there is no stopping you, so tap in to that resilience and determination to achieve all of your goals.
Meeting new friends and back to school is usually easy for you. If you plan for a healthy vegetarian lunch during the day that will keep you more balanced and get rid of the afternoon energy slump.

Gonad Type - Take Care of You!
|
The Gonad type has to do with the ovaries, a.k.a. pear shaped. You are known as the motherly, caregiver. You love taking care of your kids doing everything for them, sometimes you do too much for them, and often to the detriment of self.
Use this back to school time to make sure that you prepare your own breakfast and eat it with your kids or even before them. A small light breakfast is perfect for you, even just a fruit! And make sure when you're preparing your kids lunches, that you prepare something super healthy for you as well.
This can be a complete game changer for you, and you'll be setting a good example for them, showing them that you take care of yourself and your health!

Thyroid Type - Stay Focused
|
As a Thyroid Type myself, I have to be aware of the shiny object syndrome. We love the excitement of back to school, a fresh start! Thyroid Types have a passion for new things, things outside of the ordinary and sometimes tend to leave projects unfinished and move onto your next creative venture. You love change because it stimulates you.
Be sure not to take on too much, finish things that you start. Make sure you get lots of protein try and cut back on coffee and sugar that stimulate you even more.

Pituitary Type - Tap Into Your Inner Strength
|
You are the quiet thinking type with superior intellectual capacity who lives in your head. You reason, evaluate, analyze, compare, and judge. So learning new things can be fun for you.
You don’t talk much. You are introverted and you are only sociable if others demand it of you. So the social aspect can be challenging.
Tap into your inner strength to overcome any insecurities and know you can handle these time as well as anybody!

Learning how to eat right for my body type is the single most important thing that I ever did to transform my life and my health.
