It was easy when I was single. Chips or chocolate rarely made it into my home.
Because here's the truth, I can't be trusted with chips. My favourite are Miss Vickie's Lime and Black Pepper.
I used to buy occasionally buy a very small bag of chips, and that would be it, it was easy to stop when there was none left!
My boyfriend is an Adrenal Body Type so he also loves his chips, but he has control. :) When we moved in together, I asked him if he could keep any chips or chocolate hidden from me. Because if I knew where they were I would eat them all.
This weekend we were up at Tremblant, north of Montreal. On Saturday night, we enjoyed a beer and some chips before dinner. Usually he gives me a small bowl, and that's it, the rest get hidden. But if he ever leaves them out, then my hand goes in the bag and I will eat too many. Even if I know, that I definitely won't feel well, and invariably I will wake up at 3 o'clock in the morning as that is the time when the liver wakes us up. My stomach and liver will be
complaining and I won't sleep.
So if you're like me, don't bring these kinds of snacks into the house, or if you have to, make sure that someone hides them from you!
