With Covid, many of my clients are struggling, worried about kids, aging parents, feeling isolated, it can take its toll. And we all know the effects of stress on the body, and that so many physical if not most physical ailments are caused or made worse by stress. but did you know when you're stressed the body can hold onto weight for protection?
Financial expert Suze Orman discovered the fascinating correlation between financial stress and weight gain over unpaid bills. Generally there was a 2 pound weight gain for every 1,000$ of debt. Women who were overweight by 10 pounds were hiding 5,000$ worth of credit card debt from their husbands!
Deep abdominal breathing is the most beneficial thing you can do to alleviate your stress and you can do it anywhere, anytime!
