I think many people were hopeful that leaving 2020 behind would somehow create a shift into something better in 2021. But with Covid numbers rising and the events at the white house yesterday, it feels like the world is reeling.
How do you stay positive in light of what is glaringly in our faces every day and the thought that things may get worse before they get better?
I believe that it's beneficial to focus on resilience on, in all areas of our lives.
For me, what that looked like this morning, was sitting in meditation for 10 minutes. I imagined all the negative energy from yesterday flowing down my body, out my feet and into the earth.
Then I imagined good clear energy flowing down from above, filling my body with positive energy. I kept a similar vision, releasing the negative while exhaling and inhaling positive energy.
You might want to also imagine a bubble surrounding you, protecting your energy. Allowing you to send love out and protecting you from anyone sending less loving energy your way.
It helped me to start off and spend the day in a much better, positive place.
