Through this journey, I’ve gained 30 years of healing insight from many different practitioners. The bitter cup has become a gift because I'm now able to help my clients heal and continue to heal myself through their insights.
Recently one of my clients stood up to a family member who kept on trying to take advantage of her and I was inspired by her courage to set firm boundaries. Another client was challenged by a lot of work situation difficulties, reminding me of the importance to continually strive to let go and not sweat the small stuff.
With weight loss, our bodies can be literally holding on to or manifesting our life struggles, by not releasing the weight until these life lessons are learned and released.
For myself, my struggles didn’t manifest in weight gain, they showed up by not being able to manifest one of the most important things I wanted in my life.
I Finally Found that Man!
In January, I decided to try Bumble an online dating ap. I started messaging with a guy but shortly after he started not responding. I had had it!
That night I was in my car driving home yelling as loudly as I could, "Universe why are you making me wait so long for my man? Why do I keep on attracting these jerks? I'm over fifty F***ing years old, WHERE IS MY MAN?"
The next morning I peeked at Bumble again. This time, I saw a really cute guy so I swiped right.
We start messaging and he wanted to meet me right away....we met two days later and found out that we had both skied at Mont Tremblant from a young age. He was an instructor and knew my brothers, who were ski patrollers.
He was keen on me when I was 18 but I was dating someone else!
He loves preparing healthy food with me and then goes on to surprise me by cooking my favorite recipes like my Mexican rice and bean casserole.
He buys me flowers for every month-aversary and he bought a road bike and joined the cycling club.
We’ve both waited a long time to find this. Thank-you Universe, it was worth the wait!
