Replacing ordinary foods and carbs with more nutritionally dense ones, such as replacing white rice with brown, is key to following a healthy eating plan.
White rice is like white flour, refined and lacking in nutrients.
Brown rice is higher in minerals and vitamins, such as Complex B (which is a neuro protector, protecting the nervous system. It inhibits the growth of cancer cells, lowers cholesterol and blood pressure. and it is calming)
Usually, if you eat white rice, or anything made with refined white flour or wheat flour, you'll feel hungry not long after, and perhaps, find yourself reaching for unhealthy snacks.
Where as brown rice is heavy, dense, and fills you up, leaving you satiated a long time, usually until your next meal.
