It would be really nice if these five words formed really fun acronym, if you have any ideas please let me know! :) Over the next few weeks I'll go into each one in detail. Follow these great tips to ensure your own success!
1. Nourishment
One of the most important aspects of a healthy diet is nourishing yourself with healthy, nutrient dense foods. Replacing ordinary foods with more healthy alternatives, ie replacing white rice with brown rice or quinoa.
When you do that, cravings go down, you aren't looking for unhealthy snacks in between meals, weight loss becomes easier.
2. Emotional Release:
Without doing the inner work, long term weight loss success will not be possible. How many people do you know who lose a whole lot of weight, only to put it right back on again and then some? That happens Far too often!
You must release the emotional to dissolve the physical. I help and encourage all of my clients, through the stages needed to release the pain, fear, past hurt and start stepping into self-care, self-love and especially self-worth.
3. Lifestyle:
This encompasses a whole lot, such as stress management and cleaning up your environment. Keeping yourself in a positive, healthy space, surrounded by positive like minded, supportive friends and letting go of negative, draining people. Replacing chemical toxins in your home, cleaning products, skin care products, etc.
4. Movement:
The best kind of exercise is the one that you love and that you'll do!
I encourage all my clients to move every week. Each body type has specific exercises that are most beneficial to weight loss for their type. As well as the best time of day to move. I'll go into this in more detail in an upcoming newsletter.
5. Sustainability:
Another thing that sets the Bodytypology program apart from all the rest is that it is a way of eating that you can easily sustain for the rest of your life.
Almost all of my clients have been on many diets in the past, either they were too restrictive, so impossible to maintain for long. Or they were too broad, like Weight watchers, without teaching you to to eat healthily.
