How tired are you?
I've had a fun and very busy fall. I decided to say "Yes!" to Everything! Yes to all of the workshops I wanted to attend, (and there were a lot of them) 3 art workshops, a how to "Zen" your office space, many networking events, spiritual workshops... the list goes on. 

I started hot yoga which is great, so I went very often at the beginning. I had a  lot of wonderful new clients. I am doing a year long group business coaching program. I was so busy that sometimes I was too wired and  I wasn't sleeping well. 

A few weeks ago I was at the Montreal Metaphysical and Spiritual Show. I had a mini reading done by a friend who is an intuitive. She told me a few things and one of them was, that I needed to slow down!

She said that my To Do list would make most people dizzy. Funny, I had often thought that. I went home and realized just exactly how exhausted I was! When I told some of my friends, they were kind of rolling their eyes, and saying, "well, yes, we've been telling you that forever!" 

I took all the extras off my to do list and made a point to rest every day, to slow way down and to "Do" less. I took a supplement by Nature's Sunshine called Adrenal Support to boost up my tired Adrenals, some liquid B12 and iron, to cover all my bases and because I don't eat any red meat.

I was surprised it took over a week for my energy to start coming back and I still need to be mindful and not push it. 

I am a work in progress, I am getting off screens and getting to bed much earlier, and relaxing before bed. It is challenging, as I do Love what I do and working on building my business and everything that entails, but I've learned my lesson. I'm saying "no" more! :) How about you?

Sometimes we wear our busyness as a badge of honor, but at what price? I was lucky I didn't get sick! There comes a point where we will  jeopardize our health. Usually our body will shut down and we will get sick, so we have no choice but to rest.

We need to catch ourselves before that happens.

We don't need to be superman or superwoman.

Especially as we head into the busy holiday season, see what you can do to take care of You!!
